Nope. Those Gamecocks beat us earlier this year. This regional went exactly as anyone could have expected. Lack of pitching and dependence on the long ball doomed us in the end. Clemson was done the second Sharpe had to come on in relief in Game 1. And btw, TD for ####### comment.

Agreed, it should be a bigger shame to lose to these Gamecocks from Jacksonville State. This “big ball” is horrible. Bring Leggett back, PLEASE! There’s no hit and run, suicide squeeze, no small ball at all. Teams with pitching, and small ball kick our ###. It wins championships at this level, and the next. Lee and a few others have trended to this “big ball”, it draws the power hitters, but it’s ugly when you play a good pitching team. The post season is the proof. The pitchers pitch around our power & we get blown out by those teams. This is painful to watch.

Went to the game last night....it was embarrassing sitting next to all the Ole Miss fans and watching Clemson play as poorly has you can....however, I will say the Ole Miss fans were the nicest fans ever...they kept walking up and saying Congrats on beating Alabama and thank you for that and welcome to Oxford...There was one guy who would look up the players names in the bullpen and starting yelling their name and saying stuff like "Hurry up they need you out there Travis, Sam, etc"..I am glad I didnt stay to watch today's game....
