Why not fill Brownell's vacancy with a high profile female

Just because the coach is female, it does not mean that the men will play at a female level. If we offered the top female coach in the country half of what we pay Brownell, they would jump at the opportunity to coach at a Men's D1A program, mostly because they would be making history, but they also aren't accustomed to male salaries.
And they very well likely may even be a better coach than 72% of the male coaches in D1A, assuming they are the best, which is an upgrayed from where we are now. Would any of you really have a problem with this?

Progressives are so dumb and brainwashed!
First, it’s called a term of endearment. Get it right
Second, women all over America, but especially the south, do it also. Go in waffle house, or a diner or a mom and pop restaurant and she’ll walk up and call you honey or sweetie or darling etc.
The patriarchy is so domineering and repressive! Men gave women tampons, birth control, the right to vote, and women don’t want any of the jobs that actually make the world go around. They want the nice clean high paying jobs that are so competitive very few men achieve those positions as well. But interestingly they don’t want any of that dirty dangerous high-paying jobs. If women really want to Troy quality. If women truly thought they were as good as men. They would be competing for those jobs too! But they’re not. Because they’re full of #### and they know it! It’s not about equality. It’s about political power and propaganda and you fall for it hook line and sinker!
Go read some books by Camille Paglia. A second wave feminist, progressive, and extremely important social and art critic and American historian. She’ll straighten you out on the ######## from the left, especially when it comes to lies about women, feminism, and the patriarchy.

Interesting suggestion. I would have no problem with it, although I would prefer a female who had some experience in men’s CBB for a reference point on her recruiting.

I would take Dawn Staley over Brownell any day! I’m not a fan of womens basketball, so I don’t watch it much but you can’t argue with her results.
