Why is this not a bigger deal?!

I remember last year close to the Gary signing day that one of the biggest topics was having the #1 & #2 recruit had never happened, and was a possibility in Lawrence and Gary. Every time I go to 247 I smile seeing those two tiger paws at 1&2, why is this not a bigger deal now?!

That said, I think the NC gives me a little more of an entitled feeling toward recruiting. Why wouldn't the top 2 recruits want to come to Clemson. In fact, I'm a little offended that it's not the top 5!

Because it would be too repetitive. Plus I think they're distracted by trying to get more 5*'s and not just the top 2.
TNetters only like to be ultra-repetitive about telling coaches how to do their job.

If you are new here, there are certain things you either get used to or ignore. Most of us just move along. But never should a Clemson man, should he be one, ever be ashamed of CU because of the shenanigans of a few. Being ashamed of one's school is usually reserved for that institution of lower learning in the midlands.

The thing about #1 and #3 is that TL has been committed for a while now and XT since the spring game. THIS combined with hopefully Henry, Carman, and possibly a few others will not really a big deal to the recruiting gurus until signing day. If all this comes to fruitation, ESPN signing day and the Clemson recruiting day BBQ will be a must.

First time on here and already name calling. As a Clemson alum, if you are one , there are better ways to express yourself. You are just asking to be shredded to pieces. You asked a question and got answers. Don't ask a question if you can't handle a different answer than you want to hear. You will not survive now you are in real world and especially here on T-net.

I think was talking about recruiting services and receuitng analysis not the coaches lol. I get your point tho about some tnetters thinking they know better then coaches but I don't think he was talking about them with making a big deal about having 1 and 2 overall recruits committed more like espn and rivals those people in with this post
