ranked higher than us, so they didn't fall as low when they lost. It also helps that even though Oregon was thoroughly dominated throughout most of their game with Stanford, ultimately their loss was by 6 points on the road, while our's was by 37 at home (albeit to a better team).

Last week we were ahead of Oregon by 2pts in the Coaches poll and trailed Oregon by 28 in the Harris. This week we trail by 14 in the Coaches and 83 in the Harris. SO...
Coaches - lost 16 pts
Harris - lost 55 pts

Who gives a #### about the last couple of years? The polls are for this year not past years. If that is the case the coots should never be ranked in the top 25.

without a doubt in my mind. we get more "brownie" points for the ugay win than we do for a win over a 6-4 acc team, no matter the name on the front of the jersey.

tanked after all of the injuries, but it is what it is right now. As it stands, we haven't beaten a single team that is currently ranked or has a record better than 6-4.
We got flattened by FSU and they got beat up by Stanford, but I think the biggest difference is that Oregon crushed UCLA who is 8-2 and ranked 14th.
We need to beat SC, obviously.

bc,maryland, and ga tech are all 6-4. syracuse is 5-5.

Now we own a win over a dumpster fire.
It's a shame other folks ineptitude reflects on us, but there ya go.

How is Oregon beating 3 teams in the top 25 compared to 1 top 25 win by Clemson
Sure they lost to Stanford who at the time was ranked pretty high but they have wins which Clemson doesn't
I keep telling you guys the ACC schedule sets up to fail Clemson again. Big expectations going into the end of the year with no wins over top 25 teams and the 2 that were ranked racked up over 500 yds total offense
I just don't know what the team is made of and without orange colored glasses neither do any of you
There is nothing to judge it by. Great game at home against top 5 UGA and win by 3 is great.... poorly played or just out played spanking by #2 FSU
I can't take anything from the rest of the schedule due to how poor the competition has been.
The good news is the other in state school has a worse defense than in years past and no real schedule to tell anything about them either. 2 losses to unranked teams and wins over Mizzou which nobody knows because they beat depleted UGA and Fla teams
Who knows ut many of you fans need to do some research. Look closer at the number of yds given up against Syracuse UVA, Ga Tech etc and make sure it isn;t a house of cards. Sure the wins are there but everybody else beat those teams too. Just something to think about before the big games come up
I will have a shoulder to cry on should a weakened USC team win and even worse a good BCS team offer another beat down to a team many think is unbeatable based on what ....nothing

opportunity to beat FSU at home, and then we could've gotten another decent opponent in the ACC title game. That was OUR fault.
And you want to get into things that weren't our fault, the failings of an SEC team (not ACC) is probably the greatest blow to our resume right now.

Well USC is still ranked pretty high so we have more ranked teams from a conference other than our own on our schedule to prop us up after getting blown out by the only ranked team in the ACC on the schedule
The ACC is a joke. I dont care how good duke looks, they are duke look at their recruiting, they are duke football and may go to the ACC champ game. The other teams on their schedule out recruit them year in year out so the players played poorly and coaches coached poorly for them to lose to Duke. Now Duke is playing great but shouldn't beat some of those guys
