That is the 10 thousand dollar question. Dabo doesn't want to look played. DJ is has been and will continue to be a full on mess. Cade could have and should have been our guy last week.

But he will ALWAYS defend his players. Why would you want a coach to do anything else publicly? Again, obviously there’s valid criticism of Cade not getting more of a chance earlier in the season, but I don’t, for a second, blame Dabo for sticking up for and not denegrating our players to the press or fans.

My guess is the California connection. It's hard to get a kid to come across the country in the 1st place. But, p-off the high school coaches who can influence where a kid decides to go and you will regret it.
I think Dabo has shown nothing but loyalty. Even to his own and the team's detriment.

They can't say DJU never had a chance and was unseated by " a local favorite" or anything.

Just a theory.
