Why do we always allow

The oppents defence stop us from running the ball. Wisconsin, Alabama, LSU, O state, Michigan and Pitt seem to be able to run the ball with a loaded box. But we can't or want run when we need to loaded box or not. We have recruited well enough to be able to run the ball when needed to no matter how many is in the box.

I really question just how well we have recruited running backs! Where are they now as Gallman is really carrying all the load for the run. Sure, Fuller, Choice and Feaster have looked against lesser opponents but they are nowhere to be seen lately! Blame some of that on the offensive line but Clemson has a history of good running backs but I am not seeing that now. And more importantly, we will need to present a strong running game for the remainder of our games; otherwise, the opposition's defense just sits back and plays the pass or...waits for our QB to try to wedge a ball between three defenders like Joe Montana used to do! Not happening right now.

Push. As to the rbs we need a James Davis type that can find the hole quick and get low. I always get the feeling that Wayne runs too upright between the tackles but it wouldn't have mattered on the going wide call on the heavy package. It was blown up right away and needed to be more of smash play, that's what they are brought with n to do
