He was just showing some love to his hometown elementary school in Hollywood (SC). I'm sure that meant the world to the kids in the area!

schools do that. A guy that went to my high school played in two Super Bowls and in the first one he said his college, but in the second he said our high school. It was an awesome feeling hearing your school in the biggest football game of the year and it meant a lot to me that he said that. Not many people know where North High School is or have ever even heard of it, but it was said during a Super Bowl. It meant a lot to our town and I am sure Byron made a lot of kids feel the same way I did.

90 miles south east of Due West.

Chuck Darby was the player I was talking about. He played for Tampa Bay when they went to the Super Bowl in the early 2000s when they had that good defense (Warren Sapp, etc).

He also played for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl a few years later I think in 2005.

He came from little ol' North High School. A single A school in the corner of Orangeburg County. Not sure how many were in his senior class but there were 31 in mine in 2003.
