Why aren't firearms allowed at a firearm convention?

May 27, 2022, 10:15 AM

NRA is convening in Houston today. I find it curious that they would infringe upon the 2A rights of gun owners in an open-carry state.

The height of hypocrisy, but I'm sure y'all will make the excuse that it is because Trump is attending.

It’s the same at Shot Show and has been since day one.

It’s a safety issue. You have thousands of people handling unloaded firearms simultaneously. Think about it…

May be related to the venue but as I am not an NRA member, it doesn't concern me. NRA business concerns NRA members & sadly those nosy, misinformed, propaganda addicted leftists-like the thread starter

I've already mentioned the picture ID requirement at the DNC, so here are a few others:

Why do people take private jets and yachts to a global warming convention?

Why do dems in congress, have walls around their houses?

Why do people that voted for the party of "I am going to end fossil fuels", still using them?

Why are all activist women fugly as ###?

Why didn't your mom have an abortion?

Why do they call them apartments if they are all stuck together? They should be "compartments".

Why do the people that do not pay any tax, get to decide how much tax the other 43% pay?

Why is Jethro Tull in the Rock Music Hall of Fame?

Where are you getting this from? According to the NRA

firearms may be carried:

"During the 151st NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, personal firearms may be carried in the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRBCC) in accordance with Texas law. When carrying your firearm, always adhere to all federal, state, and local laws."
