Who will step up with Hunter Renfrow's departure, and

May 5, 2019, 11:10 AM

give Trevor Lawrence a VERY reliable, GO-TO receiver, on third downs? This is the biggest question, for me, for the 2019 offense!! Wonder how much of a setback Amari's injury will be, by the time the season starts! Could he still be the one?

I am sure we have a bunch of options. I was thinking Powell and Kendrick, but I think some taller reciever was mentioned as well. I forget who. Anyone know who will likely start there until Amari returns and is completely ready?

Renfrow played mostly the field (2) spot ... not the slot. That is where Ross will start this year. Is he a good enough receiver to suit you? With Kendrick at CB, Overton is a leading candidate to start in the slot. Pretty good (and big) set of 3 starters (Higgins/Ross/Overton). Opposing DBs will be calling in sick on Clemson game day.

If Galloway loses his appeal, it will likely be Chalk to start until Lay proves he can block. Davis Allen is the wild card, but will have an up hill battle coming in late.

who ever emerges, blocking is more important than catching the football. Dabo has said many times, the TE position in our offense is complicated.

Dabo said AR will be back. It will be hard for anyone to top Hunter’s Keystone Cop run against the Coots. That was once in a Century.
