The name should be etched inside the ring, but...

I believe Herff Jones or Jostens made the Clemson class rings at that time. The alumni office may be able to tell you for sure.

That said, if you just need to have it resized, using a local jeweler would be less of a headache than shipping it back to the manufacture.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Please see below for manufacturer details prior to the current Balfour contract.
If your ring was purchased between:

1941 – 1961 (Class year 1942-1962) – Herff Jones

1962 – 1969 (class years 1963-1970) – Balfour

1970 – 1979 (Class years 1971-1980) – Jostens

1980 – to the Summer of 2011 – Herff Jones

Fall of 2011 to Present – Balfour

...... to get mine resized for free through Balfour.

I still have a #10 size finger but now I have a #12 knuckle?

My son just ordered his Clemson ring this week. I did not realize the price had increased to well over $1,000!!!!! I think my ring was around $350.

Mine was around $300 back in the late 90's. Lost it several years ago. Went to replace it and it was around a grand for the 10k gold. I opted for the Celestrium allow (looks like white gold) for around $400. The silver-ish look is not traditional, but I've gotten used to it and like the way it looks better than gold. Matches my wedding band.

If it's Balfour, they will upsize it to 2 ring sizes
