If anything since sharpe has pitched twice on our mound he could’ve started sharpe Friday at home since we KNOW he’s comfortable there. Brooks Crawford is also comfortable pitching in Greenville. With Crawford going tonight now we’re going to have two true freshman making starts on mounds they’ve never pitched on before. It’s risky
The flipside is maybe you don’t want to put Davis Sharpe as the Friday starter cause mentally that may mess with him more than pitching on a different mound. Nonetheless I’m sure the coach knows what he’s doing and Davis Sharpe seems calm cool and collected he could probably do fine away from Clemson. I get your point about starting him Sunday but let’s just start our best for the first two games because Sunday may not even happen
