Who do you think was the most underrated Tiger FB player

you saw play? Mine was hands down #99 Jeff Bryant....a beast of a DT/DE who quietly played 12 years for the Seattle Seahawks, 1st Round draft choice, and lived in opposing teams backfields for 4 years. He's in the Clemson HOF, but for whatever reason, that guy is an afterthought for most folks when talking Tiger greats....what a hell of a DL he was for the Tigers.

you ain't lying.....he saved the undefeated season

i think he's underrated in terms of Clemson history with the fans....he started some his freshman year (he was on the field when Charlie Bauman got punched by Hayes and pulled him away from it) and he started his soph., junior, and senior years and was a force....i would even argue that him and Michael Dean were the two most dominant DL i ever saw at Clemson when you think of their whole careers. He was a man, and he saved us BIG TIME when he fell on the lateral.

a better athlete than Dwayne Allen....and completely, utterly wasted in that offense.....and he was loyal enough to not transfer....what a waste.

I agree Hall was underused for sure, but much of that had to do with the absolute lack of running game we had for most of his career. He had some good moments in 2001 when we had Woody and T-Zach and a running game worth something. Usually TE play is very reliant on the run game being present. I would have loved to had seen him in Morris's offense.
