Take out FSU and Clemson and you have a big east or conference USA. How is it this bad?

We can go undefeated and our own conference will keep us out of the playoffs. It's a race to the bottom between the big10 and the acc. The only thing we have on the big10 is that Bowling Green doesn't own the acc.... yet.

Seriously? yeah so we gave one away vs the nerds but UGA argueably beat the # 2 and # 3 teams in the ACC in 2014 rather soundly..... Going 2-1. Don't be foolish.

The ACC Coastal is pretty bad.
The Atlantic has a couple top 10 teams in FSU and Clemson. Boston College and NC State could be good teams but they play absolutely nobody OOC so who knows. Boston College plays Duke next week and NC State plays Louisville so we'll get a better idea.
The SEC East has UGA and that's it. The rest of the division is a bunch of mediocre teams.
The SEC West is probably the deepest division in the country but I'm not sold on Ole Miss as being as good as the top teams in the other conferences.

Just look at last bowl season when they had to actually play some real teams. This year Auburn sucks, Arky sucks, Miss St sucks, Bama is a B- team at best, LSU barely beat Syracuse, and let's see about Ole Miss. A&M struggling w powerhouse Arky right now.

If the West is terrible then every division in CFB is terrible.
Of course it's not heads and shoulders above everybody else but it's still one of the top divisions.
Auburn is terrible, but remember they beat probably the 3rd, 4th at worst best team in the ACC Atlantic.
Clemson and FSU still have as much to prove as anybody else.

your program is in shambles and likely will be for the rest of your life. The only golden years you ever had led to zero trophies and zero major bowl games. If it makes you feel better grasping for straws about the other division in your conference (which let's face it, is not so great), well I guess that's what you have to do. Good luck buddy. Sorry it crashed and burned so badly for you guys.

I've made it point not to listen to the talking heads this season.
I actually sat in the recliner all morning with gameday on the tv but muted.
What I have listened to I don't feel like I've heard the same kind of pumping we heard of the SEC West last season. Of course the big homers David Pollack and Finebaum still play the conference card but I don't feel like any conference looks to be ahead at this point at least at the top.
The ACC with FSU and Clemson have just as good a shot as anybody as long as the winner of the division doesn't slip up somewhere else.

Clemson and FSU are considered elite CURRENTLY. I believe when it's said and done, GT, Duke, Louisville, and UNC can compete for Top 25. Not saying the ACC is the best but I wouldn't say hideous...

Indiana over Wake Forest was expected. BC had a nice win over a solid NIU program despite having lost their starting QB last week. Syracuse played more like the #6 team in the country than Auburn did against LSU. Louisville, UNC, NC State all took care of business. VT losing to ECU isn't really a shocker at this point but UVA did phone it in embarrassingly enough. Duke beating GT on a rainy, lull-you-to-sleep nooner at Duke isn't a shock.
For the season, Duke played well against a tough Northwestern team a week ago. Miami beat Nebraska. The ACC struggled Week 1 but the match-ups were not favorable at all. I wouldn't say the ACC has been hideous - just nothing special so far.
