Which QB does DW remind you of?

Sep 26, 2014, 9:43 AM

I'll go with Geno Smith, looks really smooth running and throwing, plus throwing on the run is a strength.

I think he's a little more athletic than Geno...

but I can see that

Geno ran so well against us in the OB. I remember

Sep 26, 2014, 9:50 AM

several times him rolling out and getting 10 yards or so on 3rd down and stepping out of bounds an inch past the stick.

I do not think DW compares to anyone in recent memory, he is special on so many levels.

^^^This

Same effortless look and touch to his throws...keeps the eyes downfield at all times...isn't a Michael Vick type runner but can escape pressure and throw on the run. Poised and a natural leader.

Best comparison IMHO.

Re: Different build but plays the game like Russell Wilson.***

Sep 26, 2014, 11:00 AM

Agreed. If he can play like RW does for the Seahawks, then we are surely in for a treat.

RW never impressed me that much at NCSU, but the talent level there is pretty weak overall. He's done alot better at Wisconsin and then obviously in the NFL.

For me to be honest, I think that he is the spiting image of Deshaun Watson. That young QB that signed with Clemson February past on signing day. I can also say that I think that he maybe good enough from what little I've saw of him, he was pretty ### good. He may turn out to be a QB that can help that beautiful college in those hills of the up state they call Clemson, yes that's it, Clemson University. Well I think that Deshaun Watson kid could be the QB that helps them get back to that elusive National Championship once again and win that Crystal Ball. That kid is truly that good I believe, that Deshaun Watson is.;)
