I like our chances with Malaki Starks. He commits in 2 days.

Travis Shaw seems like a lock at this point, especially after we get Jalon Walker on the 28th.

Again i wouldn't get my hopes up. From the dawg bored....."Starks has tipped his hand. He recently mentioned that he will take all of his OVs after he commits. Only one school of his final two allows visits once you commit, and it’s not Clemson."

I haven't heard that and if it's according to a dawg board they have a silent commit from every 5* in the country. Starks likes Clemson there's no doubt and mama is a Clemson lean I have been told however letting her son make the choice and he will tell her Wednesday what his choice is and Clemson is absolutely in this and as of right now it's a two team race with Alabama seemingly a good ways behind at number 3 but things go strange ways in recruiting so who knows. Also Tetairoa McMillan was wearing Clemson again this weekend when camping and has been sporting a good bit of Clemson gear recently. T-Mac doesn't currently have a Clemson offer and one landing for him would just be a formality as pulling Cali kids is never easy for Clemson but I would keep an eye on things to move forward especially this summer once visits begin again as anticipated.

Yeah i realize they think they're getting EVERYBODY, but this comes from one of their regular recruiting posters who has put up good info in the past. I hope Starks goes with good guys but it feels like a longshot at this point. Safety is where they wanted Starks so i thought i saw where Branch is now getting the full court press for that spot.

We will take more than 1 S this cycle is needed and Starks is a toss up from UGA people I've talked to and luckily credible even they have said they don't have a ton of confidence to say whether it's Clemson or UGA at this point but if they had to guess they'd say UGA. Again it's recruiting so nobody really knows but also Branch isn't getting the "full court" treatment yet his brother and him are playing college ball together and I would have to say that when he gets an offer that's when we're in the full court press so for now with Starks I would say I'm hopeful but nobody is truly confident on an answer because he hasn't even told either staff what his move is.

Don't be shocked if Randall continues to climb as he's put on a show the last 2 camps. Needs to soften his hands but he's got a very rare blend of size and speed that you just don't see in HS football too often I could see him ending as a top 50 prospect and possibly a 5*

Depends on what Starks does Thursday. Outside of him we are great position with defensive lineman Travis Shaw and Gabriel Dindy, but I see them taking their recruitment the distance.

A recent offer went out to Jacoby Matthews who is a 5* safety. He said this days before his Clemson offer “I’m really after Ohio State and maybe Clemson,” Mathews told Lettermen Row in New Orleans last weekend. “If can get those offers, I’ll probably close my recruitment. I wouldn’t say I’ll just go to either one of them, I don’t know that yet. But after those two offers out there, my recruitment could close down. I’m still interested in those two schools.” I do not think that OSU will offer because they believe that they will get Nwankpa.

Side Note-Cade will get a good luck at 5* ratings by most services.

Sure would be nice get our defensive backfield to be solid

all the way across. WE've had bits and pieces over the years but getting the whole unit to be efficient has proven to be very tough. Those areas need to quit being weaknesses if we're going to win another championship. These QBs have torched our secondary the past two years.

I think we're set up for a decent run on our defensive line barring injuries of course.
