He’s declaring for the draft but not hiring an agent right? He can test the waters , get NBA feedback and return to Clemson. Very common.

This isn’t just my opinion, it was common knowledge to those of us who keep up with Clemson basketball.
You are the one who is spinning this to make it seem like Trapp isn’t committed to the team, Brownell can’t keep players, doom and gloom, etc.
