The police department needs a sacrifice to save face with the community. I'd hate to be the person who took that video, they're probably a marked individual. I guarantee you without video this would have gone nowhere.

IDK about north Charleston, but the guy that took the Eric Gardner video found himself in jail on a weapons charge inside a week of releasing his video. I have a feeling that they will leave this kid alone though, the video changed everything as you said.
