she's pissed and then probably looks at Will (or he sees her expression) and for whatever reason makes him decide to stand up and walk in front of millions (billions?) of people and assault Chris Rock. Obviously, it's bizarre.
Puff Daddy then comes out and says something about the situation and the camera cuts to Will and he's doing his patented "funniest thing I've ever heard" laugh that used to be charming but in that context is creepy and looks unhinged.

Venus nipslip would have been the story of the night, and nobody seemed to even notice or care. And the live feed when we were watching cut the video but not the audio for a few seconds with Smith saying something like "hope live TV didn't catch that", but then the video turned back on for a second or two and the wife and I were both like "that's a nipple". Didn't even need Japanese TV.
