getting tickets, hotel room, spending money etc.., On Monday night we just turn on our HD TV and watch the game.
Don't get me wrong it would be awesome to be there if I could afford it. I was fortunate enough to have been at the 81 NCG, it was an awesome experience but it's becoming a rich man's game these days. And that is unfortunate but that is the way it is.
Go Tigers! Prayers for safe travel and a great time for all of those going to the game.

Got a 10th grader and a 5th grader dying to go. They understand what I can do with $5k!
Hope everyone has a good time and just now that this 97 grand will be drinking some Eagle Rare and cheering loudly.

I've done work for NYC Department of Homeless Services and have gone into shelters where residents have surround systems, iPhones, sneaker collections, flat screen tvs, etc....

39 inch Insignia HD TV at Best Buy for 189 dollars. Moreover, I put a 42 inch HD tv out on the curb a couple of years ago for free to whoever wanted to take it, because I upgraded.

I know what you mean. We are not poor, but when I told my wife how much it was going to cost for the family to go to the game (she is not a sports fan) she looked at me like I had two heads. "Seriously?..." was the response. The issue was dead...

I prefer the comforts of home. I will go even further. I don't even like too many people around me while at home when I watch.

It should feel as special to you as it is to anyone else. Being there may be fun, but not a requirement. You know how loyal of a fan you are.
