Number 4 recruiting class in the nation in that 2015 class after losing the nation’s hottest OC and promoting a no name RB coach.


How did Dabo have his best recruiting class ever after a down year and losing a coordinator?

We had nothing to sell in 2014. We’ve got a ton to sell for 2022. It is weird that this class is so bad. No D lineman.

is the real deal, then nothing else really matters. An elite QB makes up for it.

But DL needs fixing.

The DL is loaded.

As to 2014, no uncertainty with numbers. We were recruiting to a certain number of available scholarships this year this with the Covid year. Throw in the portal and we had far for scholarships available in December than we did in August.

What changes Dabo makes will be interesting to follow. Does he begin to offer kids he may not have a scholarship for? He will use the portal judiciously. Not sure what he'll do overall

Our star rating is #5 this year, so at least the quality is there

Why do you think Dabo will use the transfer portal judicially? He hasn't used it to any degree up to this point in time. Convince me that he will use it in any capacity.

once the injured are back in the spring not many open spots on the 2 deep. Whoever we bring in likely has to compete for PT. A lot of transfers are looking to start, not compete.

People act like we're just devoid of talent

We have 9 DT's and 7 DE's on scholarship not counting if Henry stays. Was well known they were targeting 2023 as a big DL year.
