Ole Miss was my dads favorite team ( He grew up in Biloxi ) and they were always known as a football school in his day . There isn't always money involved . This Matthews kid comes from a family with money . I think he did it for himself .

I hate to say that but it does make you wonder how they have been landing some of these recruits the last several years. But I hate being that guy who uses the $$ excuse cause it really irritates me when I read other fans say that about Clemson when we land a top recruit. That's what people automatically assume when a 5* kid chooses to be a Tiger.

Although some shady stuff may have been going on w/ other guys, I think this guy had family that played for Ole Miss.

What happened w/ the WR whose leg blew up in their game against auburn (the cheater bowl)?
