If it is always racism that motivates whites to kill blacks, what could possibly motivate blacks to kill whites, since blacks can't be racists? Whatever it is that motivated these black cops to use excssive force against these black people, couldn't that also motivate white people to commit similar acts against black people? Couldn't it be any number of other factors?

I'm sure this will be down voted, but I have doubts that Derek Chauvin is racist since he is married to a minority.
I think he was just an awful cop.

Im not one to see racism at every corner (I'm black)
I do think Chauvin is a bad cop, amongst other bad cops, including every single one of them at has used this maneuver. And the Sgts, Lts and other officers that let them. The whole F'ing system needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt better

no I don't think it is. Understand White cops have killed other black folks all the time. In most cases, theres a burden that needs to be satisfied to be a "hate crime".
the Floyd video just sparked a fire that was waiting to happen. Black folks are tired of getting abused. Tired of having to bury their Fathers, brothers, sons. Tired of the system that seems to be stacked against them, with yet another blk man dead in police custody. Along with all the other recent issues thats been all over the news

When a black cop profiles other blacks, is that racist?
For example, Atlanta PD is ~60% black. Are their actions racist? The two officers who tased the blacks students and lost their jobs, were black.

blk cop can be the freakin worse.
I got pulled over once, 2 (white) cops tried to coerce me into a search of my car. went back and forth doing good/bad cop. The good cop actually said "i'm gonna level with you, we know you have drugs in your car or on your person. If you just tell us where it is, we will just take and destroy it and not take you in". So either they are lying, or they would take the drugs and keep them themselves. NOTE: I DIDN'T HAVE ANY DRUGS
The stop was sposed to be about me not using my signal to change lanes, even though I know I did. Anyway, as he was talking, their backup rolled up and parked in front me. As they passed I made eye contact with the 2 (blk)cops inside. I immediately said "oh f#ck" to myself. The scene was kinda calm up until now, even tho the cops were feeding me bull sh!t. The guys walked up to my car, yelled get your hands so we can see them, with their hand on their gun holsters. they made me get out of the car, and slammed me on the hood (for their protection) cuffed me. And of course now all them are amped up. Saying even tho im in cuffs they were gonna taze me if I didn't agree for them to search my car. I asked if i was under arrest? they said no, but they had a dog on the way and they would walk him around the car and I would be in big trouble. The dog arrived and found nothing walking around the car, or on my person. One of the blk cops uncuffed me and nearly broke my wrist, saying they would be watching me, as he read my name and address off my license. Guess that was sposed to scare me into silence .They all literally just walked to their cars and left....no ticket for anything, coz the stop was BS.

We are in a police state here in 2020 with zero privacy. Upper middle class white kids in 2020 get a record for what black kids got away with in 1990–it’s rampant. Do wealthy people at the top of the food chain get a different set of rules? Absolutely, but that’s wealth related, and it’s a wealth that 99+% of white people don’t have either. That’s a classist problem completely independent from race.

IMHO, you’re 100% correct. It’s more socio-economic than anything else. The socio-economic situation is a completely different debate.
You can’t drive through Woodstock, GA late a night without getting pulled over. Those fawkers will get you for anything, even made up. When I was in my early 20’s I got stopped for my headlights being too bright. LOL. They were ###### halogen bulbs. They were just fishing for reasons. The problem is the poorer people that have a tail light out, lapsed registration, etc. are likely to be minorities for that area. Does this make the cops racist? Or does it mean they are equal opportunity ########, just due to socio-economic reasons minorities are more likely to get a ticket/arrested?

Of course not, but it does happen. Your point is to whitewash legitimate claims of racism by exaggerating the claim to ridiculousness so it can easily be dismissed. Black guy runs out of bank with bag of money and a gun and cop shoots him. Racism isn't a factor.
Guy places a knee on neck and murders a black guy in plan site....yeah, racism is probably involved.

I would be thrilled if we could focus on legitimate claims of racism. Chauvin may very well be a racist, but we have no way of knowing at this point. Please explain why you believe racism is "probably involved" in this case.

Certainly could have been "racist", but I think he was probably just a #### that's done the same thing numerous times and just took it too far this time.
But that's just speculation. He also may have gone home every night and lit a candle under a swastika.

People keep saying "How is this guy still a cop if he's had 17 [I thought it was 18] complaints logged against him!?!" Well, quite easily. Lest you forget, we live in 2020 America...everyone complains about everything. Maybe this guy has complaints like "He broke my arm" or "He punched me in the head repeatedly after I was in the cop car." Serious stuff indicating possibly he's in the wrong line of work. But I know of one officer that had two complaints in one day because he issued a bunch of parking tickets. One said he only did it because of the guy's religion, even though the cop never ran the plate and had no idea what the guy's name was. One said she was actually parked somewhere else and the cop just didn't like her (he didn't know her). Still complaints.
People have to stop taking social media outrage and assuming it's right, or the whole story. We never know. Social Media truly is the land of misinformation.
