What's your favorite cheese for bbq sammiches?
Jul 5, 2022, 12:39 PM

Speaking with a gringo friend, he prefers one of those pre-sliced yellow cheese made by Kraft. American I suppose? Of course my favorite is cojita.
What queso do you prefer for this pulled pork sammich?

Is coleslaw a cheese? How about pickles?

When you say cheese, is it because you’re looking for a low carb bun option? If that’s the case… cool. I guess.

Nobody in their right mind would but cheese on a BBQ sammich.

I suppose mac and cheese would be the only thing even considered being on the table or in the kitchen during a BBQ meal.
This is insane talk. I can't even fully process.

Cheese makes everything better. You ever had a slice of sharp cheddar melted over a choice ribeye steak? Heavenly.

Excellent point, cheddar is also spectacular if broiled over the top of a nice pan fried flounder or grouper filet.

Nope.
That said I do enjoy the predictability around casting a crankbait, slowly winding it in, and watching the school of fish follow it along.

If it’s good, I don’t even want a bun diluting the smokey pork goodness. Eat it straight off the plate with my fingers - delicious
