What's wrong with the the defense?

There have been several games this year we've had a chance to put it away but the defense can't seem to get stops when the other team is in hurry up mode.

Not really worried with a team like Alabama or Mich St but Oklahoma could present a real problem for us.

Imagine what 13 other teams and their coaches and fans must feel like .
Man , we moved the ball and scored on them , but we still lost the game ?
Must be frustrating for those guys .

If you played multiple games without a break you too would have lapses! Get over it as the team now gets to rest this coming week during exams. They will regroup and be fine.

I can't speak for everyone, but this defense far exceeded my expectations. 2 years finishing top 10 in total defense. I hope the country keeps disrespecting Clemson. Maybe we can hang on to Venables longer that way.

Stats don't tell the whole story.

You're not going to tell me the defense didn't allow Syracuse, Scar, and UNC to stay in the game.

The tigers have played some really great competition this year. And thanks to the defense, Clemson has had more points than all of them after 60 minutes.
Teams watch film. They know what they can do against other teams.

In the FSU game, the defense severely limited Cook after his long td.
Last night, you heard "Switzer" and "Hood" fewer times than 11 other teams. Now Davis and Williams really stepped it up for the holes, but the tiger d took care of business and walked out of BOA with the W. #90 literally took the ball away from them!

What's wrong with the d? The d that is rebuilding because they lost so much talent? NOTHING!
