What's a more exciting schedule for Clemson, ACC or BIG 10?

For fun I am listing the most exciting 5 games for Clemson to play in the ACC and BIG10 to compare.
Which schedule would you prefer?
FSU NC STATE MIAMI PITT UNC
Versus this schedule:
OHIO STATE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN STATE PENN ST WISCONSIN
If you're honest, it's not close is it?

What's a better game than Clemson / Ohio State?
Is it just an ease of attendance thing?

A Michigan and/or Ohio State game would make a fine OOC game.

I would rather play
FSU MIAMI NC STATE UNC
Instead of
OHIO ST MICHIGAN MICHIGAN STATE WISC
But I would also rather play
PENN STATE instead of PITT

Except if we went to the Big10 it wouldn't look like that

If the B1G comes after us it won't be just for the purpose of getting Clemson to play a bunch of midwestern teams. It will be to put a serious dent in the SEC's primary television market. I'm thinking their ultimate goal would be to create an eastern division that might consist of:
Rutgers Penn State Maryland UVa UNC Clemson FSU Miami
I'm just speculating but that scenario is the only thing that makes enough sense for them to actually go for it.
It is also motivation for the SEC to try to pick off the southern teams in that group to keep the move from happening.

That is a great idea for the BIG to make happen for the footprint.

A move to the SEC is a no-brainer

That's why I compared schedules to the Big 10.
I have a lot of hate of the ACC from the Danny days. Old timer here.

I could care less about the ACC as well (other than Clemson, of course, and I can tolerate Wake). My fear is a drop off in recruiting if the Tigers go to the B1G. IMO, the majority of the best skill players come from the South and I don't believe a lot of the families would like the B1G travel.

Neither schedule excites me. Out of those two options, I would prefer to watch the ACC schedule. Unfortunately though, the rest of the ACC is weak in football.

add in Cinci, Texas Tech, Ok St, West Virginia - that brings the ACC to 18 teams. Then add Arizona St and either Baylor or TCU. and you have a good TV market conference with football schools.

That pays each team ~ $22M per year which is losing ground

No new schools will join the ACC because of the grant of rights deal. If the ACC made an exception for a new school, I’m sure we would use it as an excuse to leave the conference. The ACC is stuck with the teams we have now.

I think its just as important to look at the other end.....

Look at the bottom of the conference. Duke Ga tech Virginia Syracuse BC
Versus
Illinois Northwestern Purdue Indiana Rutgers
It's not always about the marquee games. The awful games with teams we have no history with is the problem. Example: when Syracuse, Pitt and BC joined the ACC Nobody cares. College football has always benefited from geographical rivalries

Purdue has been in the Top 10 recently. They are no slouch along with Iowa. I’d love to make a trip to Iowa. Looks like a great environment. More fun than a trip to Dook.
