hard line and put an end to the SEC's advantages and level the playing field.

SEC policies such as oversigning, annual vs. four-year scholarships and minimal acceptance standards have played no small part in their significant financial and on-field advantages.

Paul Finebaum - did you ever think that maybe that was what Delaney was inferring when he hammered Alabama with his latest comments?

SEC policies such as oversigning, annual vs. four-year scholarships and minimal acceptance standards

Of the above policies, what BCS conference has any standard that is different from the SECs standard?

With the exception of Vandy, UF, and UGA, the SEC is academically laughable. This has nothing to do with standards for prospective athletes though, who simply have to meet NCAA requirements. So admission standards (as in Clemson being tougher to get into than SC-Columbia) for scholarship athletes really are irrelevant

Exactly, as far as players are concerned, the rules are about the same. In fact, of the rules listed above, the SEC has the most restrictive with the enactment of the hard cap on signing. No other conference has that.
