Probably the same thing that happened to Justin Fields and Jacob Eason (after he recovered). Kirby being Kirby.

It seems simple to me. JT Daniels doesn't provide any value over Bennett (in my opinion), and while Daniels was out, Bennett created this continuity with the team. No need to disrupt that. I've been a big day one believer that Jt Daniels isnt a very good QB.
