A lot of luck, but maybe no longer a Biblical miracle, for us to get to the ACC Championship.
NC State has to lose 3 ACC games; they have already lost one of them. Maybe UNC can beat them; haven't been keeping up with the NC State vs. Louisville game (Go Cards!)
WF has to lose another ACC game and then lose to us (which equates to 2 ACC losses for WF).
Then, Clemson has to beat Louisville and (of course) WF.

State has to beat Wake. Then they need to lose

two. They are tied with Louisville at half in an offensive shootout, 7-7. If Wake beats State, the minor miracle we need is out the window.

NC State needs to lose twice-they hold the head to head tiebreaker with us. Wake needs to lose and we have to win out---I think

NCState losing to Miami made it reasonable/possible.
The Woofpack must lose two more but Wake Forest can not be one of those. Think a loss at Florida State and against North Carolina … both are sensible.
Wake Forest must lose one game other than Clemson. Somehow NCState needs to beat Wake Forest because a win by Boston College is way unlikely.

From what I can quickly gather, we lose in a 3 way tie with NC State and Wake Forest. The best scenario is for NC State to lose two more games so they finish 5-3. And then for Wake to lose 2 conference games with one of those losses being to Clemson. We would then win the 2 team tie break with Wake assuming Clemson wins out.
Wake* (5-0) remaining conf games: NC State, Clemson, BC NC State (3-1) remaining conf games: FSU, Wake, Syracuse, UNC Clemson (4-2) remaining conf games: Louisville, Wake
So an ideal hypothetical would be as follows: Wake: NC State (W), Clemson (L), BC (L) = 6-2 NC State: FSU (W), Wake (L), Syracuse, UNC (L) = 5-3 Clemson: Louisville (W), Wake (W) = 6-2 (2 team tie break winner against Wake)
*Side note: Wake Forest's game with UNC is a non-conference game and does not count against the standings.

I'm not 100% totally for certain but from what I can gather regarding a 3 team tie break:
The first tie break is record against each other (Clem, NCS, and Wake would all be 1-1 against each other)
2nd tie break is record against own division (not against the whole conference - division only). The only available scenarios I can apply end up with Wake at 4-2, while Clem and NCS would be 5-1. This would then eliminate Wake Forest from the three team tie break. So then the head to head rules now apply so that means NCS wins conference. So we need it to get down to only a two team tie break with Wake.

The Wake v UNC game is NOT counted as an ACC game because

Wake schedules the Tar Heels outside of the regular ACC scheduling of 8 ACC games. So, Wake plays the 8 regularly scheduled ACC games plus UNC as a ninth ACC game and therefore it doesn’t count in the ACC standings.
I know, weird isn’t it!

Right.
The schools got a waiver from the ACC because they want to continue their traditional rivalry that was diminished when they were assigned to separate divisions.
I think they would play a conference game, as scheduled by the ACC, every 7 years. The other 6 years the game is individually scheduled between the schools like any other nonconference opponent, just like we do with SouKarliner (except I don't think they do it every season.)

Sheesh, maybe you should try following football, UNC and Wake are a nonconference game this year because it’s a ninth conference game for each
