What team if any would give Clemson the most problems.

At this point of the season the only team I have seen that could beat Clemson is Ohio ST. They have talent everywhere and will be ready when the playoff starts. TCU and Baylor don't have enough D and Bama is not a top 10 team. Stanford is playing good but they won't be in the final 4.

A lot of teams could beat Clemson, including

NC State.
Now, would anyone be favored against Clemson? Maybe not. I suppose the most likely is Ohio St. Maybe LSU and/or Alabama. I think Clemson would be favored over any other team right now.

Clemson is better than every team in the land.

Except ND. I'm not sure we would beat ND if it was sunny and DW4 was hurt and Kearse, Lawson, and MAC were all in the NFL.

Why is everyone thinking Ohio State? Has anyone watched them play? Not convinced they would hang in with Clemson. They have struggled a lot this season on teams that they should have blown out. .

I think unless just something crazy happens the Tigers and Ohio ST will be the top 2 seeds. They have a better chance of losing with Mich st and Mich left to play.

No team is a bad muchup for Clemson b/c we are a complete

team. We have the offense and defense to make a run. The only weaknesses I see are that our offensive line is good to great, but not elite. Also, while our LBs excel in run stop / gap control, they are a little slow and have trouble w/ intermediate/shallow/crossing route type stuff. Also, maybe a bit of youth at WR. Those are pretty nitpicky things though and almost every team except maybe OSU also has issues like this.
As far as who the toughest of the top teams are: OSU, Bama, LSU, Baylor, Standford, TCU in that order.
OSU: Offense finally clicking now that JT is in, elite RB: EE, really good defense with stud athletes. Better recruiting on average than Clemson if you believe in that sort of thing. UM is a consensus top 2 coach.
Bama: It's Bama. Don't care how bad you think they look, they still have 4/5 stars at every position and Saban, a consensus top 2 coach. Consensus top front 7 on D. Henry and Ridley are for real. QB play is a bit mediocre, so that's their weakness. At the end of the day though it's still Saban (best gameplanner) and 4 #1 recruiting classes.
LSU: Best OL and RB out of all the top teams. Can we stop or neutralize their running attack? You'd hope so. We'll know more once they face Bama. Really good defense.
Baylor: Running the best system right now w/ personel that fit. My designation here is operating under the assumption there is little to no drop off at QB now that their QB is out. They have been lighting teams up but its hard to get a gauge on them since they play no one OOC and the Big 12 sucks at defense. Their schedule is backloaded so we found out more about them very soon.
Stanford: More balanced offense than LSU but still smash mouth pro style O. QB is really good. Well coached. I think we could take them though.
TCU: Incredible QB and WR Doctson is really good but they have no defense.
