Gods, your understanding of stuff is just amazing.
That guy wasn't a banger, he had the skids written all over him. I guarantee you his brain was cooked five ways from Sunday on bad meth or crack if he wasn't some sort of undiagnosed schizo that fell through the system anyhow...or all of the above. Whatever, he was clearly Not Well. The dude was running around in flip flops, for crying out loud. America is spinning those kind of guys out left and right at the moment...and we have No Plan Whatsoever to deal with them.
But carry on with your daily edition of Black People Are Bad, Phd Guy, because it must, after all, be all about race. But you're not racist, good Heavens no.

...the "guy was running around in flip flops" equates to not well?
Where do you live and do you ever walk amongst the common folk?

Excuse?
They're going to run that dude down and discover he's got a rap sheet as long as your arm, and it's mostly for shoplifiting, vandalism, drug charges, lewd acts, petty thefts, and oh yeah, more drug charges. And they're also going to discover whatever brain he's got left is pretty much truly been cooked to cat sh!t at this point, and he probably was always mentally ill to begin with.
I dunno. What's your answer for how that got started, or how it's supposed to stop? I'm not making excuses or answers, myself, just observations.

NO, I did leave a half-eaten hamburger on some pig's windshield when I was in Santa Monica. Those dudes were flat-out stormtroopers. They mowed a guy down in my neighborhood with semi-auto rifles for running from the police. They had little posted notes on the sidewalk where they found every shell casing and there must have been 200 or so. I heard he lived, but had both legs amputated and poops in a bag.
So I left a hambuger on one of their cars, that is the extent of my activism.

...and that (minimum excursions into crazy) is why you are here today instead of dead from the result of a gone-bad interaction with a cop.

I am a yes sir no sir type of guy. I have had 2 bad run-ins, but have had good interactions as well. Long hair in rural areas led to the bad ones, but that was 20 years ago.

Not sure why you would want to go to Miami beach, I am up in Martin County where the .1 percenters live Cops here are actually super cool, cause there is no reason to pull people over being that the Tax Base here is so sky-high that traffic fines are not a necessary part of police work. Being that there are few traffic stops, there are fewer opportunities for them to get it wrong and shoot people. It happens one county north all of the time, but not here.... Weird.
So when you really think about it, it was republicans that defunded the police decades ago in their race to cut state taxes. Guess who had their budgets slashed to point that they no longer were law enforcement, but tax collectors for the county? that's right.

I know some cops. Cops are not different from us. They are us. They are our Moms and Pops. They are our brothers and sisters. They are our neighbors. The ones I know will show up to help me (or anyone) if I call.
