Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday night, ran to Lowe's for a few things, Mexican for supper, did not achieve most of the production goals.
Saturday, up early to go look for some plants to replace the holly I'm about to cut down and rip out. Went to Martin's which is pretty cool and to the native plant sale at Conestee park. Didn't make many purchases but I think we've got a plan. Home for some yard work and not much else.
Sunday kegged some beer, watched the Softball ladies run rule UNC, a lil more shopping.

Friday, late night at work
Saturday, up early to do yard work. Spent all morning putting out pine straw. Then my in-laws called needing to do a refrigerator musical chair situation. My SIL got a new fridge so the old one had to come out and the new one put in. Then the old one was transported to my FIL's where the old one there was removed and that one put in. Then his old one was taken to BIL's and put in his shop. That took about 6 hours pissing off everybody involved. Then I got home and finished planting the garden.
Sunday: Up early, got the kids ready for church then hit the links for 18. When I started, my driver was on fire and my wedges were garbage. By the end, my driver was garbage and everything else was on fire. Ended up bogeying most of the back 9 which I have never done before. Got home and got ready for the week.

Great plus police run-in

Friday: Had an unexpected visitor in town, so had a good time drinking beer.
Saturday: Smoked a big prime rib for neighbors and watched basketball. That night, we took a golf cart caravan cruise and arrived at an intersection where a major road cuts through. We were, needless to say, many beers in and still pounding them on the carts. A vehicle was coming down the main road and slowed down. It flashed its lights for us to go; we shook our heads and waved it on since we didn't want to pull out in front of a car and go slower than it. Well, the car wouldn't move and flashed lights again. We had an awkward standoff for about a minute, minute and a half. I set my beer down and asked my passenger, "Wait... is that a cop?"
The vehicle finally onto the street we were on and stopped. Yep, a Ford Explorer police vehicle. The officer rolled down the window... and she was, upon a quick glance in the dark, young and cute. Sorry, no pigs.
Her: "Why didn't you go?" Driver in the lead cart: "We were waving you through." Her: "But I signaled for you to go. Why didn't you go?" Me: "Because our carts are too slow." Her: "But I told you to go ahead of me." Passenger of lead cart: "This is stupid. Let's go." They start to drive off. Me: "Yeah, but if we pull out in front of you, we'll go too slow and you'll have to go around us." Her, really smart-assey: "How do you know I was going that way?" Me: "You didn't have your turn signal on." Her: "Well, I just want to make sure you have a good, safe night." Us: "You too!" And we took off.
Sunday: Took it easy and got a little work done here and there.

Friday....dinner and movie with wife-of
Saturday....whole lot of nothing. Was wiped out from week at work. Watched Final Four games. UNC/Duke lived up to the billing.
Sunday...more nothing. Son/wife-of rented a table at the Jockey Lot to sell all of his old nerf guns. Regular nerf gun man comes by and makes offer for the whole set. Sold...and got out of there so fast they didn't have to pay for the table. PLUS, I didn't have to go, therefore not breaking my streak of never going in that place. Made a big grocery run and prepped to try making Saag Paneer for the first time for dinner.
Discovered 12 yo daughter-of had not been truthful about phone usage, had a lot of texts we didn't like, and also had not reported to us that one of her friends had claimed she was going to hurt herself. Phone taken away indefinitely, mother of other girl contacted (who was very cool and handled situation perfectly), and much drama ensued with daughter-of. Then get a call from son-of who had fallen out of tree playing with friends and eff'ed up his ankle. He'll be going for x-rays this morning. After all of that was too late to start cooking, so ordered pizza. Congratulated some Scar friends for being a women's sport powerhouse and called it a night.
Very relaxing until Sunday afternoon.

Friday, Joonyer and his bride went to Atlanta for a concert and Mrs. was working at the camp, so I spent most of the late afternoon/early evening doing the parade of pee with three dogs, which finished just in time to start over with the parade of poop. It's times like this that I think about investing in a fence. Homemade pizza for supper and spent the night watching episodes of Our Flag Means Death. I wouldn't say it lives up to the online hype but it's not bad and season one os short enough that I'll go ahead and finish it.
Saturday, Mrs. and a buddy went kayaking in the morning, so I got a few chores out of the way and tended to dogs and cats. Mrs. came back fro paddling and took off to work at camp, Joonyer came to get dogs shortly after, so I went to the music store and laid hands on the brand new Fender Meteora bass for an hour or so. Probably would have left with it except I couldn't get past the color so I'm waiting for the next one to come in. Visit to RH Mom, then back home for a quick supper, then over to a buddy's studio for LOUD electric jam session. I was hoping the new Ampeg bass rig would be in but delivery was delayed. Still had a blast and worked through a lot of songs I'd never played before.
Sunday, coffee and laziness in the morning, errands and grocery run, back home to take a hike along the lake with the pup, visit to RH Mom, back home for another stroll with the pup up the road and then supper. Watched Jojo Rabbit, which I had heard a lot of good things about. Brilliant film. Maybe not for everyone, but the world IS filled with uncultured dolts, so...
Pretty decent weeknd overall, let's say 18.75/19 Covids.

Fri - first day of tourney at Palmetto. Didn't play well, couldn't make a putt.
Sat - second day, played much better. Made three birdies and some good net birdies. Won majority of our bets and some hat pool cash.
Sun - recovered. Ran some errands and just relaxed. Did not watch women's basketball.

Friday, Met up with some friends at Revelry Brewery downtown to celebrate a friend's wife finishing breast cancer treatment. That turned into dinner next door at Kick'n Chick'n, which turned into going to Red's to see a friends band, which turned into throwing darts at friends house, which turned into a 4:30 am drunken discussion about religion.
Saturday--nothing--slept off Friday night.
Sunday--went and saw some friends who are in the East Coast Party Band and they were playing at Water's Edge on Shem Creek. Friends from Friday showed up in their boat, so hung out there for a bit and then ended up on the sand bar behind Sullivan's island. Went back and ate at friends house and ended up home around 11 PM last night.
Sunburned and a bit hungover today, but its OK because its the beginning of summer.

I was finally able to drink beer again this weekend, wind didn't cooperate Saturday so we went to Pendleton's little spring event downtown. Had cocktails at Swamp Fox Distillery and perused the art on sale, not a bad little afternoon.
FINALLY GOT BACK ON THE MFING BOAT SUNDAY THANK PERRY NOBLE. It was killing me sitting around the house all of the time. Watched DNR harass an old lady on a kayak in the cove who was maybe 100 yards from her dock over a life jacket. She handled it like a boss, never quit paddling nor did she acknowledge him at all. After about 10 minutes circling her and trying to get a response he left. What a hero she is, probably going to buy her a bottle of wine or something.

Friday: Played golf, won money. Wife out of town Friday night. Went to Halls for dinner and then Blue Martini to get wild. Home 2am like the old days.
Saturday: Hungover all day. Napped all day. Watched final four games. Glad rat face lost.
Sunday: Played golf, won money. Hung new security cameras at new house. Roast for dinner. Sexy time and then good night.
