Hm. Even if it is a launching point for this team, I still think this is a bit of hyperbole. Easy to get excited and overstate when the team wins.

Dabo was part of the 1993 Alabama National Championship team (if I remember the year right).
There was Dabo's first win as a head coach (Clemson vs. Boston College) ... one of those numerous C.J.Spiller superman games.
There were the two Nattys.
There was the 2014 game against U. of S.Carolina to break the 5 year curse.
OK, that's 5 games which may have meant more to Dabo if he really counted it up.
But today's game is clearly very meaningful to Dabo ... maybe truly a top 6 game.
Why should not this come-from-behind victory, with legitimate big plays for a young / frequently impaired (injuries / illness) offense that couldn't get out of its own way because of drops / missed blocks etc. ... paired with a heroic defense that gets overlooked because the offense has not lived up to its pre-season reputation? Moreso than any other game during this bizarre / injury / illness addled season, given this context then the FSU game today was a true signature victory.

Swinney: I'm proud of DJ. I think it will give him great confidence. We made some big plays in the passing game. We had a lot of things that we hadn't been finishing on that we did tonight.

Swinney: It was a lot of emotions all week. Coming off of a lot of disappointment. We're having an opportunity to teach a lot. Struggle makes you strong and our team is getting stronger. We're getting better.

Swinney: Shipley is just relentless...It's unbelievable what's he going to be able to do. He's just kinda built different from a lot of people...I love Phil Mafah. He's just a stallion. They're going to be a fun duo. We've got a special group right there.
