The last two years we've beat ourselves

Dec 2, 2013, 5:34 PM

And the coots get to claim it as their victory, not our self inflicted defeat. If that doesn't light a fire under everyone's butt in the locker room we have a #### big problem.

This is not an excuse it is fact

Y'all coots dont respond well to logic

Re: This is not an excuse it is fact

Dec 2, 2013, 7:35 PM

so it's just a coincidence that Clemson turned the ball over more times against by far the best defenses they played all year.

I hope your coaches think the same way

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah man, that punishing SCAR defense really had an impact

Dec 2, 2013, 9:45 PM

on our punt returner muffing 2 punts, which were by the far the most punishing turnovers of the game.

Seriously, just try and think for a second before you post. Sports Management major?

Re: Yeah man, that punishing SCAR defense really had an impact

Dec 5, 2013, 3:26 PM

no, those two were just Clemson sucking. the first one was on Dabo, the other 3 were all Taj v. Our D.

1,001 for good measure

And it's the truth, which makes it a reason, not an excuse. Carolina's got five in a row, nobody to argue that obviously, but SIX turnovers will get you beat by ANYONE.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Post it everyday until we beat them.***

I don't think you know what the word literally means.

Coot Logic^

Dec 2, 2013, 5:39 PM

Carolina scored 21 points on turnovers. A insanely stupid pass on the first drive & three fumbles are self inflicted.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Coot Logic^

Dec 2, 2013, 5:44 PM

You say turnovers, I say takeaways. All ends up the same.

game. The muffed punt and interceptions I understand, but the two fumbles were stripped nicely. It wasn't like they were dropped.

Funny

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I shall say since y'all beat yourselves

Dec 2, 2013, 5:37 PM

Saturday, I will claim that excuse for our Tennessee loss now. And UGA loss. We can both be undefeated now.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If we weren't a better team

Dec 2, 2013, 5:44 PM

Then we would have made the bad passes and coughed up the ball too. Poor guys just couldn't handle the pressure I guess.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So Tennessee is better than y'all?***

Dec 2, 2013, 5:45 PM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They won, so yes?

Dec 2, 2013, 5:46 PM

How hard is it for you people to understand that the only measure of good/bad is a win or loss?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Haha dude no. Tennessee is not better

Dec 2, 2013, 5:54 PM

I watched the game through & through. Carolina came out & played an average game by a team who came out motivated as hell & played better for 60 minutes. Carolina is better than Tennessee, don't discredit yourself to try and make a point. That's what makes college football insane, the fact that teams who aren't as good as their opponent have a chance because they're all kids who are gonna make plenty of mistakes with implications of changing the game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: So Tennessee is better than y'all?***

Dec 2, 2013, 8:53 PM [ in reply to So Tennessee is better than y'all?*** ]

Must be better than the coots too then, having beat them when the tigers could not. I guess the final score doesn't really mean anything in football anymore. Any team can claim a moral victory instead of an actual one and go undefeated every season. Hell, why not dispense with all the pain and hard work and declare ourselves national champions on September 1.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They were better than us

Dec 2, 2013, 5:49 PM

On that given day, we didn't let them win. They won because they played the better game. End of story.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Dec 2, 2013, 6:06 PM

I do that a couple times a week.

motivation. If anything we're tight from trying too hard, which leads to mistakes (turnovers).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What makes the USuCk game different from the UGA game?

Dec 5, 2013, 3:43 PM

Some have suggested that our players can't perform under pressure (e.g., lost to FSU, lost to USC), yet they beat UGA--a big time game.
