In December for the first signing day if we don’t have 15+ guys. It’s slower this time for us because players finally get to take all their visits, you can’t blame them coming off of covid restrictions and the big one is many are waiting to see how the NIL plays out too.
The portal has a log jam that will get bigger so that means less High School kids getting scholarships too.
Dabo and crew just had the first and biggest shake up with both offensive & Defensive coordinators going to big programs and taking some guys with them.
Dabo always has a backup plan and most of the time it’s better than the original one because he had time to develop it.
Our team is loaded with young guys who have been developing, we can afford to be choosy. I believe we are taking more top 3 and bottom 4 star guys because they tend to stick to the program.
Look for us to pick up an OL guy for depth from the portal. We are waiting on Parker’s old teammate from Kentucky to hit the portal(wishfully).
Dabo has everything under control, a couple of dominate games to start the season offensively will help a bundle so people can see we are going to be very good.

I'm certainly not going to be concerned in March. I fully expect us to get back to elite level recruiting, even if that means adjusting for under-the-radar guys who will be heart-and-soul guys (see Nolan Turner, who was abused by this board, with some exceptions). When will we learn to trust Dabo?
Almost every prospect mentions how Clemson is different from other places. Getting recruits on campus, seeing it's awesomeness, the red hills, the current players, the Natty trophies, the slide, and most of all -- our amazing, unique coaching staff. I think little ole Clemson will surprise a lot of people this coming year.
Enjoy the ride. It will be a good one.

You bring up a good point with respect to getting recruits on campus. I think that definitely hurts us over the last 24 months. It may offset some of the negative impacts of NIL. Although, I don't think we fully know what those impacts are for our program at this time. I assumed, like most, the worst from NIL. However, some recruits have voiced what a good job Dabo & Co, did explaining and planning for NIL. I am hopeful it doesn't turn out as bad I assumed. As you said, Dabo has a plan. He's been underestimated many times.

Mid July (All-in Cookout): Typically gives us a gauge as to how we are doing, especially among the elite recruits.
