This is where NCAA needs to put a halt to some of this. You can't have a group of recruits that you counted by position and then leaves before 1st semester. Kid has to sit for semester and he must pay for housing, meals, school, clothing, and sit the upcoming semester. He wasted $10s'k at this point with coaches flying to you recruiting, spent money for private flights and tours, etc. There is no way a kid should cost a school $50-75k+ ust for committing go to up to school then transfer 3wks into semester.
Then what about any NIL money, or what if it was a handshake and not a contract. These kids have to take some responsibility as to what this cost schools at this point. The ACAA needs to quit finding in favor of recruits and make them understand they entered the business world and not the dating world.

It is that simple. The Supremes have made it plain enough they don't give a care about "stability" or "how it used to be". For them, it's purely a constitutional issue.

He talked about how no coach can plan for his roster until May.
Parphrased: A kid can sign in December, go through Spring practice and then enter the portal. A kid could sign in December and never set foot on campus and enter the portal. A kid who has been on your team for 4 years can decide in May that he wants to enter the portal. At that point, coaches have no choice except to use the portal to fill gaps in their roster.
