answer was to the question of how Cade is doing in practice? I think he only said, "Doing good. Really good." I may not have the exact quote right but the response was extremely brief, especially for Dabo.

to DJ, I don't think there is anyone who understands better we have issues at QB and Cade simply isn't where they needed him to be.
That's not a slam on Cade. DW and TL I think have warped our perception of where most freshmen QB's actually are.

Cade would play as well, and most likely better than DJ has, whether coaches say he is "ready" or not. DJ just isn't good. It is what it is. And if Cade is even worse then holy #### we are ######.

This notion he was somehow going to come here and push either DJ or Cade is honestly one if the stupidest things that has been spewed by some on here all year.

100% truth. I never understood how Johnson was even a 5 star QB even his highlights were just ok and he played ball in what Indiana?
I figured he'd be a solid backup here when he signed.

striperfan ... I believe in Cade's skill sets more than Streeter's and Dabo's QB development skills. Even if Cade was horrible (he's not), any QB in the country could outperform DJ's performance vs. SYR, ND, SC. Cade needs to leave and fast. Wish him the best.

Maybe Cade has decided to transfer and it's not public knowledge at this point. Therefore. he is not playing any more downs. Gonna keep it under wrap until the recruiting is done in January.

Cade has already played in 5 games so he gains nothing by holding himself out. Now if he told the coaches he’s gone then they may hold him out. But neither is likely because he’s not that kind of guy. And if you ask me how I know, just trust me I know people he went to high school with.

He is pissed every time somebody brings up this subject and that right there tells you all you need to know about this issue…. Dabo knows he missed when he recruited DJ and has been telling everyone this false narrative for 2 seasons “ DJ is our guy” when even he knows he is not “ The Guy”….arrogance has taken Dabo down the woeful path and pride keeps him from admitting he was totally wrong about this one!
