what do refs do at the half?

the reason I ask is because of games like last night where they totally change how they call fouls.
besides hydrating and getting some rest do they review clips from the first half. how do you go from few fouls and almost no offensive ones to calling every screen set a foul. yeah many on use but some on FSU too. what causes such a radical change in approach

I dont know if they watch video or not. But I would assume they discuss calls. But they should not set an agenda but they probably do

like the Presidents during the Cold War with a direct line to the refs and he picks it up anytime he wants to affect the outcome of a game.
He usually only calls Chapel Hole, Duke, or whoever Clemson is playing.

Hey Mr Attitude I asked a general question. I've noticed other games not just CU ones reffed much tighter in second one half than the first.

half. They know the foul discrepancy in the first half so if need be, they'll even it up in the second half. Most of the time, refs will let teams play in the first half, but then really tighten up in the second half.

problematic that I could not see the fouls clearly enough to say that they were bad calls. It just seemed we were committing some really stupid fouls away from the ball.
Was it really that bad?

I watched on espn3 and at times I could not read the score or the time left. then it would clear up and be very sharp. very off and on with regard to quality
