Those pulling against FSU being very shortsighted...

The only way we don't keep getting shortchanged is for the ACC to rise up and beat the so called big boys. Like it or not, the perception of how good we are, is greatly impacted by how the other ACC teams do. I don't like FSU either, but nothing will help us more next year, than for FSU to win the NC again this year, then we beat them next year. I hope we get to play them next year with them still riding a 32 game winning streak. Keep pulling against the Noles if you want, but it only hurts Clemson if they lose to GA Tech. It even knocks us lower in this year's bowl pecking order.

recruiting rival behind SC and UGA, so why do i want them to turn into the next USC(real) or Bama? I hope FSU loses and Clemson becomes the team carrying the banner for the ACC.

do for the ACC?

other than make their fans even more impossible to deal with..

the ACC is still dumped on and now the media claims FSU is the only team worth anything in the ACC..this is why they continue to fall in the rankings despite winning..because they "play noone"

we know its bs but noone outside of the ACC cares..the only way the perception of the league will change is if more teams step up other than FSU and Clemson in out of conference games or if another team from the ACC wins the title other than FSU..if this doesn't happen it will remain a "one team league"

the only other team other than FSU capable of winning a title in the ACC is us right now (resources and recruiting) and we still have a ways to go..va tech used to be in that group but have fallen off the map and pull in average recruiting classes..miami won't be miami again until they start playing infront of more than 17 people in a stadium an hour away from their campus

the addition of louisville helps..

in short..FSU winning the title again will do nothing for the perception of the ACC

the SEC got all their respect from there title streak because multiple teams won it which made them look deep..even though in reality it was only a few teams doing the work and the rest of the teams just rode their success as their own (SCAR)

We recruit the same athletes FSU recruits. FSU repeatingng national championships will so heavily load them with talent that we will not be able to compete with them in the near future.
