It just astounds me that "muh freedoms" always seem to include the right to infect and maybe kill any little old lady they run across, just because they don't wanna take a shot that the medical community agrees will help them as well.
COVID was a decent-strength BSL-3 bug. God help us if a BSL-4 - like, say, Marburg, which has popped up again recently - ever breaks loose. I see these headlines and I get cold chills because the Derp Brigade just has no idea what this would look like if it gets loose on a broad scale.

You just called the Florida Surgeon General a “ritard”. He’s not wrong. The vaccines do not stop transmission and at present the unvaxed/ post Covid individuals are not at more risk and most likely more protected. Those are facts.

Frontline Doctors?
think I'd trust peer reviewed literature and respected (by peers) infectious disease and community health experts rather than political appointees. Cracks me up when someone props up one "expert's" opinion when it agrees with their own, tout them as a medical professional, even though for every one of them there are hundreds of other experts that disagree. True, there are going to be differing opinions, and everyone should make their own choice, but sometimes the logic is lacking.
Plus, it was never about stopping transmission initially, but decreasing morbidity. True, latest variants are escaping effectiveness as far as infections, but hospitalization rates are way way down. This guy gonna recommend no polio or

Mandates were definitely about stopping the spread

First of all, Fauci and all, said the vaccine would prevent you from getting it then they finally had to walk that back. Then it was mandated to stop the spread!
You can't mandate, to protect you from yourself. The mandates Were always about, protecting others from you.

BS. youre thinking the original lockdowns. dont revisionist

history. good grief. We didnt get the vax's to the public til Mar 2022. Wayy into the pandemic. you know, when all those facilites built that were never used. ya, those.
The "mandates" for the vaxes, were always said to stop the spread. Always, heard it over and over and over. Heard how the unvaxed were killing people. The pandemic was going to go on forever bc of the unvaxed.
Stop the spread was still being used even after they finally admitted, it never was going to stop the spread.

No If the vaccine didn't come when it did, the healthcare system that was about to bust would've caved Believe me, I'm there If you want to believe otherwise well we aren't going to reach a common ground, and you are wrong

Reminder for the idiots in the room.
Joe Biden stated on December 14, 2021 in an interview: People vaccinated for COVID-19 “do not spread the disease to anyone else.”

FL; the oldest population had less deaths, and less shutdowns, and less mandates.

I agree. 55% of the “citizens” do not pay tax; therefore shouldn’t get to vote.
