What are the odds that Dabo boots Streeter?

I have a feeling he won’t. I wish I was wrong but I just feel it in my gut. I think we are gonna ride this thing into the ground. I love Dabo and I’ll always be grateful for him driving this program to two national titles, so I mean no disrespect. But keeping this guy on as OC us just not fair to our players.
You’re expecting them to put all this time in and hard work, to play in a scheme that is downright predictable and not utilizing their talents. I noticed it under Elliot and we were lucky we had insanely talented QBs who were able to hide it. But we still have way better talent than most teams, yet I see other teams get so much more out of way less talent.
Dabo have a little known chad morris a chance and he hit the jackpot, but you’ve got to think you aren’t always that lucky. Rob Spence certainly wasn’t the guy. I just hope Dabo does the hard but RIGHT thing.

He definitely won't make a change mid-season, but if things don't improve, I don't know how he doesn't make changes after the season SOMEWHERE. It probably won't be anything like a heads rolling scenario, but change needs to happen.

It also looks like Jeff Scott will not be back at USF next year...............

Say what you want, but Dabo is the offensive coordinator. Streeter is just the fall guy.
Cade should have finished the first half at qb and started the second half. The game was over for all practical purposes, so why not let Cade play the whole forth quarter and get some experience? We know what DJ can do.

Cause, our worst problem was players who forgot to block. Our offense was ND's best defense. Coupled with our offense, ND's defense was their best offense.

Nah man, we had plenty of opportunities tonight where the blitz was picked up perfectly.
You cannot expect a QB who operates in a run only, screen pass offense to see the field. Thats unfortunately what Clemson has now.
The biggest problem for DJ is this horrid scheme.
And this is without a doubt the worst offensive play calling i have seen in 30 years. The Mad Scientist Rob whatever his name was executed better than Streeter

Slim and none Morris is an awful coach Scott would be great he has head coaching experience now Scott was the innovative coach between the dual coordinator system

Zero- unless Scott gets fired. Good chance he demotes him to QB Coach and gives him the CoCoordinator title. Then Grisham would be odd man out and Scott coaches WRs and co-OC.

I'd say the odds are better you bought the winning PowerBall Lottery ticket last night.
Play calling has been terrible, no one is arguing that. I haven't played or coached football in 30 years and I can predict what's coming with about 90% accuracy, so I know that the DC's that are paid to evaluate this against us are picking up on it. Is it because Streeter is just that bad, or is Dabo overriding him trying to protect DJ? I don't know, but either way this is on Dabo to fix.
I just don't believe there's a chance at all of him firing his OC after 1 year. Especially if Clemson finishes strong and their final record is 13-1/12-2. There's 131 FBS teams, last year only 6 had a 10 win season, we were one of those even with as bad as we perceived things to have gone. As of this morning there are only 14 teams with 0 or 1 loss and Alabama or LSU isn't on that list.

I don't see him firing Streeter (or giving him a different role) during the season as that would present the problem of who replaces him. I do see him offering Streeter another role within the organization and then looking outside the program as he did with Venables and Morris. Many folks on this forum want Jeff Scott back but I think Dabo can do better than that. I'm a fan of DJ but his skills don't lend themselves to the current scheme. I think it's time to give CK more playing time earlier in the remaining games...
