What % of Tnetters belong to IPTAY, the way winning athletes

are "paid" for Legally to come to win for Clemson?
I know this sounds a bit harsh but it's the truth. A Student/Athlete comes to Tigertown and is put up with room/board/books/etc primarily thru an athletic scholarship (that's put up in escrow too I believe for the 4 full years of intention to play that long)..by IPTAY.
Tell me I'm wrong and I'll go away..but it bugs this old man that a certain % of the Tnetters b*itch about this or that about our sports teams when they lose..but a majority of the people on here imo are not pulling their financial weight to help out the same teams they want to win.
With that said..I say only 25% of Tnetters belong to IPTAY..and it cost just pennies a day to be a minimum member. If you are a member (I am; since 1966 but admit on & off way too much) I commend you...and if not please consider joining pronto since it will really help our Athletic Dept be able to do more to round up those super young men & women we want at Clemson to win with.
In fact, I would believe that the various Team Recruiters site the financial robustness of IPTAY to potential recruits..what it stands for, has done & will do for them in their college life.
And, as they say do it for the "Gipper"..which for Clemson would be Coach Frank Howard who went out each summer in his old car, no A/C, high humidity, dusty roads,bugs..during a Depression (before Obama!)..and actually begged or intimidated poor farmers & others to help out his/our Tigers with a $10 dollar donation.
Nuff said..What say you?

but i'd also like to see us recoup the money when player's leave early for the pros (since we're paying for their 4 years) & it would be great & fair to get that "donation" BACK into IPTAY from those guys making big bucks...thanks to their opportunity to play & be discovered while playing for Clemson! jmo...

No. Both children and I are grads, but some of our greatest fans, and supporters, never went to Clemson. MY Dad, brother, and a left handed pitcher from The Citadel are 3 of the best examples I know.

tails because they had more money to do various things we couldn't do..like own newer, faster or bigger airplane for recruiting purposes..or have a budget for more weight machines in the gym..or able to pay bigger salaries (wait, Chad makes more than any assistant so that won't fly!)..or have Apple computers rather than a cheap Toshiba like mine..or able to hire more cheerleaders to court the guys..OR...whatever.
Saying..money talks, and IPTAY can talk more IF you give!

My grandfather was a charter memeber of the Clemson Collegiate Club when it first began in 1934, followed by my father (who was actually an NC State alum) and now me.
I have been a proud IPTAY member since 1985 (29 years).
