I love it! My son played for 2 former Tigers and I coached along side one of them for 12u. The older of the 2 came from knowing nothing but winning...state champ, all star, D1, good run at CU hampered by injuries. He treated our team like it was college, obviously on a stepped down level but tough none the less. I'll never forget the look on the parent's faces when he told our boys "if we don't win it all, we have failed." He had a saying for every team we played. He would say we are going to "honor" them. Honor them for their preparation, honor them for choosing to play us, honor them for their hard work and then we are going to honor them by shaking their hands. Those boys were killers and we killed everyone but one team..lost 8-0 in a state championship game. Those same boys kept that mentality through HS, came up short of a state title again and several are still carrying that mentality on the D1 and D2 levels of football. Go Tigers!
