First off I pride myself in being a Clemson fan and I love Clemson football but let's face it, were not Alabama and we just got flat out beat by a more superior football team on that given night, we did not play good against Boston college, we were lucky to win that one, the offense has become to predictable, teams have had time now to really break us down on film, and our mediocre running game has a lot to do with it not to mention our suspect defensive backs and safteys we have got to get a premier running back to complement our receivers and not put it all on the QB. Tajh Boyd is a good QB but he cannot do it all and he's not superman. Florida state has superior athlets at the skilled positions bar none, but I bet Alabama beats them, simply because Alabama is great at all facets of the game, no weaknesses.

i agree we have a lot of athletes but not many

football players,there is a difference.
just because you are atheletic doesn't make you a football player.
for instance s.anthony at line backer he is very atheletic but to me he is no Leroy hill or levon Kirkland they were football players.
face it we are a finess team.

Nor Oregon,or Ohio State.
But I will say one thing for us.
We have to be the only under achieving team in America who year in and year out think we should be playing for the MNC just because we are Clemson.
You say your a Clemson fan.Well so am I ,but when are we going to wake up,smell the roses,and realize we are not a top 5 program.
Does it take an Alabama loss,a whipping in the Orange Bowl,last night,or 4 straight losses to our instate rival to convince people that we just aren't good enough to be a major player.
I could care less about whether or not Bama could beat FSU,or not.
I care about Clemson.But I am also tired of hearing the excuses.
Last year after the loss to Carolina I heard this.Fix the problem.
Well,I'm still waiting for the fix.

Losses after a close, hard fought game, I can take. But West Virginia and now Florida State? Those are not losses, those are beat downs. I can't accept that, not for Clemson. And if the chickens beat us again this year.... I don't even want to think about it.
