Not sure if anybody else caught this during the 3rd quarter on TV, but one of the commentators mentioned Beamer saying “We're a 2nd half team” & then cited their comeback win from 14 points down vs. Vanderbilt, as if Vanderbilt has a defense like ours.
Imagine thinking, “We came back from 14 down vs. Vandy; surely this 17-0 deficit vs. Clemson isn’t too much to overcome.” Whew, there must be something strong in the water down there at Usuck.

I think Beamer just says that to try to keep the stadium from emptying out in the 3rd quarter. Coots gonna coot.

In fairness, they did move the ball better in the second half, so he's not really off base.
It's just that he didn't give any context to the statement. No mention of "winning" or "scoring" or "leaving faster than anyone else"
