Went to the USF / ucf golden showers bball game last night -

Bulls were something like 8pt home dogs.

Have been playing OK - with seemingly good effort - but get lost for 5 to 8mins and the hole gets too big (sound familiar?).

Or stuff like - paying SC State $100K to come play and dude hits a turnaround 3 pointer from the baseline with no time on the clock - for the dub.


Anywho - coach comes in about 20 mins before tip - and is pumped up. Talks about rivalry games he has been in - and says this one is every bit as good and he really doesn’t like the ucf’ers. Said he had respect for Johnny and his staff but doesn’t like them.

Aside - when he said Johnny, I knew he was talking their head coach but I didn’t realize until we got out to the court that Johnny freaking Dawkins was their HC. Had no idea.

Anywhoooo 2 - Bulls end up SMASHING those dudes by 20+ - was spirited and relentless and the offense was kept dialed up the whole time - no slow down or other crap.

Was a great win.


When’s the last time we were a significant home dog and we smashed them ? We need new blood in Littlejohn.
