Well tomorrow is gonna suck

Dec 14, 2021, 12:49 PM

Went to doc for consult last week b/c I'm 50 now and need to do the ole colonoscopy thing. Told the PA about some other stuff I have going on so they are going to do an EGD tomorrow. Procedure not fully covered by insurance but we have met our deductible for the year so they are working me in. At 2:40 in the afternoon. That's all they had so I took it to get it out of the way. No food after midnight, and no liquids after 6:40 am, not even water. I'm not concerned about the procedure at all, but getting there is going to be major suckage.

the best thing to do after a colonoscopy is to eat fried and greasy food, don't listen to what they tell you

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Tomorrow is down the top. January is up the back.***

How's your vision?

Dec 14, 2021, 1:19 PM

My daughter had one along with other tests a few years ago when she was having gastro problems along dizziness and nausea. She was put on meds and nothing worked.

When she came home from college for spring break she was due for an eye exam so I scheduled her for where I go (she'd had her previous exam and gotten her glasses from Walmart near her school). When they determined her prescription and measured the prescription of her glasses, one of the lenses was way off. An obvious error made by Walmart. Once hse got correct glasses and adjusted to them she was miraculously healed.

wear 1.5 readers when needed. Although I am starting to need lots of light to see well. Think I'm getting cataracts.

Nice family history of upper GI problems, esophogeal spasms, GERD.
