was to automate a McDonald's. We got super baked and did a few time / process studies at the one close to campus. Essentially have the user enter their order on the app, scan the QR code at the drive through, then have automated assembly of said order. Consolidate it at the pick up window and allow for customer pick up after transaction completed.

I think it would be pretty easy to do, and you could cut the head count in a Mickey D's to about 3 people. You'd likely only need one 6 axis robot.

Only catch that we couldn't figger out was the always breaking ice cream machines

With the wages creeping up, the payback will be there and I'm sure someone will do it if they haven't already.
