Well I finally took the first step in losing my

self-sovereignty...I took some of the money that would have otherwise been used on either a new house down payment or a new Crownline E4 XS down payment and bought an engagement ring. I still think they're a stupid waste of money, but at least it's done. Well, kind of done, I didn't even think about there being a lead time for this sort of thing.

But alas, monies are spent, and the waiting begins. Now I just have to ask parents (another thing I don't understand, she's 24 years old with a full time job), and hope they don't say no because I've been dragging this out so long.

Anyone have any decorative vases they would recommend that I can store my balls in?
