sweep the last 2 from BC and have FSU do the same to UNC and/or Pitt do the same to GT to move above the 12th seed. No longer can pass WF in the seeding due to the % points bump they get from the tie and Pitt would finish higher seeded with an equal record due to H2H. The tourney will definitely decide who gets the NCAA bids. Particularly bids 8-10 as the ACC will almost surely get based on being in a dead heat with the SEC for top conf and light years ahead of most others. Pitt is a non-factor unless they make some miracle run in the conf tourney. Their overall record, SOS, and RPI doesn’t warrant real consideration. That leaves Clemson, UNC, GT and WF. They all have pluses and minuses and the ACC tourney will likely shake out which one gets left out(possibly 2 if multiple teams bomb in the tourney or these last 2 days of reg season). Clemson didn’t play UNC but is 5-1 against the other 2 with only an extra inning loss at WF. That 5-1 record against the teams you are competing for a final spot should carry a lot of weight. Let’s keep those bats going today guys!!
