Hard to believe where FSU is now vs 2013

Nov 30, 2017, 9:55 AM

That 2013 team was the best CFB team i've ever seen in person. I watched them warm up in stunned silence. It was very apparent before we even ran down the Hill that we were in trouble. And they systematically took us apart. That Defense was on another level. Never lost a game- still the last National Champion to finish the season Undefeated. Average Margin of Victory - 39.5 points (better than 2001 Miami, 2004 USC and 2005 Texas). Its closest regular-season game came in a 14-point victory at Boston College, and regular-season opponents never held FSU to fewer than 37 points.

2013 FSU was practically an NFL team.***

Literally every starter was in the NFL by 2015

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Seriously, they were one of the best, ever, at least in

terms of winning differential over their competition and defense. That's not hyperbole, that's statistical fact. Like within the top ten of all time. Would be an interesting study to see what has caused their collapse because it sure doesn't all fall on Blackman's back (as skinny as it may be). Lots of teams have to start freshman qb's. Oklahoma even won an NC with a freshman QB. There was/is some deeper rot in their program that has caused this.

Which is why we should appreciate the good times right now....Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, TAMU, FSU all say high.
